AI Image Editing Limitations
Learn where automated image editing works well, where it can struggle and how to review results before use.
What can affect an edit
Low resolution, heavy compression, motion blur, low contrast, complex hair, transparent objects, reflections and overlapping subjects can reduce accuracy. Start with the clearest available original.
Generated pixels are estimates
Removal, replacement, enhancement and outpainting tools infer missing detail. The result may look plausible without matching the original scene exactly. Closely inspect faces, text, hands, logos, edges and repeating patterns.
Review before publishing
Compare the result at full size, verify important facts and keep the original file. Try a smaller selection or a more specific prompt when the first edit changes too much.
Choose the right tool
Use the Magic Eraser for removal, AI Replace for a described substitution, and the Photo Enhancer for clarity and resolution improvements.
